LUXOR

Luxor Temple is a part of the ancient city of central Egypt on the eastern bank of the Nile River. Built partially on the site of ancient Thebes, it includes the Temple of Luxor built in the reign of Amenhotep III and added to significantly byRamses II, who had colossal statues of himself erected at the complex and later at Abu Simbel in Upper Egypt. The Arabs called it "Luxor" meaning " The City of Palaces" because of its magnificent edifices and impressive buildings as easily seen in this aerial view of the main complex.

There are several notable features to Luxor Temple. The entrance as shown in both photos, and the Avenue of the Sphinxes which stretch out in the foreground invokes a sense of awe to all that see this massive temple. (See Karnak Temple for more details on the Avenue of the Sphinxes.)

The next feature that stands out at Luxor Temple are the ornately inscribed obelisks that tower into the air with pin-point precision. As mentioned in the Karnak Photo Page, a majority of these obelisks were removed and placed in various cities around the world. Most of them were taken by the Vatican and are no less understood today then they were during the reign of Ramses II. Many, if not all obelisks came from a much earlier time and served a technological function we still do not understand today. Although the statue of Ramses II, as shown in the right photo is massive (approximately 55 feet tall), the ancient obelisks dwarf the pharaoh considerably.

In recent years “scholars” have attempted to determine how obelisks were carved, moved, put into place and erected. Comically, documentaries portray slaves using flint knives and copper arrowhead tools (too soft of metal to make a dent) to supposedly “carved” hieroglyphics. First issue with this not discussed is that at the time of the construction of obelisks according to historians the masses did not have language, only a small elite group. Did the slaves grunt their way through the instructions? And in what language were the instructions given if they could not communicate?

Next problem is that they want you to believe they carved these out of one piece of stone and then pushed it on wooden rollers several miles over uneven terrain to be placed on a wooden boat. After that, their theory is that these obelisks weighing hundreds of tons were only moved when the Nile was flooded to have the least amount of distance from the river to the temple entrance in which to move them. A 2-week window! So these slaves had to grunt really efficiently! (Wow! Where’s good help when you need it?)

Finally, they show a computer model of a sand pile and how they presumably positioned the obelisks into place by removing the sand without it tipping the other direction. What is funny if it wasn’t so sad is in order to “prove” their theory throughout the documentary they use modern-day cranes that move up to 250 tons, pulleys and machinery made of hard metals, and barges, and primarily show sketches of how they think it was done. The bottom line is that even if you believe this theory, several fundamental questions go unanswered. What were obelisks? What function did the gold and crystal capstones have? Avoiding common sense questions is a magician’s trick of “look at my eyes, not my hands” or by thinking that their theory sounds plausible prevents the general public from digging any deeper.

Luxor Temple is best seen at night. The Egyptian Authorities responsible for lighting this temple have done a spectacular job as seen in these photos.Standing among the rows of columns or in front of the entrance, the lighting emphasizes the height and the lengths in which Ramses II took to express the idea that “man” could reach heights beyond the physical.

A recurring theme at Luxor being viewed at night is the moon. More times than not, photos snapped of Luxor include the moon at all stages. But, most profound is when the full moon rises over the temple as shown in the left two photos. And even more astounding is capturing light orbs (Beings in other dimensions) that are present at this temple. The amazing photo on the right shows hundreds of light orbs during the facilitators’ Initiation Ceremonial Journey to Egypt in November 2005.

Luxor Temple is magnificent in its size, complexity and grandness. But, unlike the other temples that are much more ancient, Luxor lacked the connection to the cosmos, sacredness, and messages from the Gods and Goddesses. Then one man took notice of the deliberate floor plan of the temple, and a perspective unfolded giving clue to this temple’s divine purpose.

This man, R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz spent 15 years at Luxor attempting to solve a riddle of Egyptian civilization and in particular, Luxor Temple. He wrote his findings in The Temple of Man that have since been translated by Robert Lawlor into English. His conclusions began from the premise that Ancient Egyptian Civilization was more advanced and complex that modern research wants to admit and that the layout of Luxor Temple (seen to the right) is conveying a message about man’s journey to personal discovery and enlightenment.

Lubicz's breakthrough came in part from a question that had baffled him – why were all of the ancient statues in Egypt shown with one foot forward of the other? (See insert of Sekhmet statue). In an inspirational moment, he connected the layout of Luxor Temple to that of a human form due to the curious feature of the entrance. When viewed from the perspective that the feet are the entrance and the head (Crown chakra) is the back or where the holy of holy room is located (see blue arrow), the turn of the front section and the right foot is shown extended (see orange arrow).

His theory that this temple was a physical representation of “man’s” journey was validated by the writings on the temple walls. Ramses II, designer of the temple had inscriptions carved to describe the use of the temple and that there was knowledge to be first gained and a progression to be able to visit the inner chambers of the temple with few achieving access to the sanctuary. This led Schwaller to expound his theory called, Sacred Science, a science based on Natural Law and personal discovery. As testament to this theory, current day travelers on sacred journeys to the temple are asked to walk from the Avenue of the Sphinxes through the entrance to the back of the temple in complete silence, holding personal intentions for the Highest Good.

In addition to ancient temple, there is another place in Luxor associated with the journey of “man.” The ruins of this temple (shown on the left by Artist, Millmore) have its origins with a Being called, Serapis Bey (sketch on right) during the evacuation of Atlantis over 12,000 years ago. It is believed he came to Egypt to establish a new place to maintain the Ascension Flame. Some know it as the Halls of Amenti.

The temple, most of which is in the etheric realm was constructed as twelve rooms within rooms with the inner chamber containing an altar. The inner room is described as shaped like a pyramid with the Ascension Flame on top of the altar. It is further believed that Physical Beings have been guardians of the flame and the inner chambers that represent various levels of ascension. One such Guardian was Serabis Bey when he was none other than Akhenaten. Various Beings have guarded entrance to the inner chambers that are accessed only when one obtains certain vibratory levels and consciousness.

Serapis Bey, whose name stands for “Wherein is His Dwelling Place” was known to have been a disciplinary to maintain human qualities to allow for inner expression of the God Self. He continues to be devoted to perfecting the soul through compassion, patience, understanding and self-discipline. He fulfills this role by assisting all that call upon him for development of the heart and the culmination of all embodiments.

As it so happens, Serapis Bey was channeled by Shelia Reed during the Initiation Ceremony Journey in November 2005. He requested to speak to a few of the facilitators with part of the message being to drop expectations concerning ascension.

There is another indication that the area around Luxor is associated with enlightenment and ascension. The map on the left shows the Nile River as it runs through Egypt with a curious bend (See highlighted image with orange circle). This bend is enlarged and flipped in the center right photo with Luxor indicated (Pink heart). As a validation of the bend in the Nile and Luxor holding significance that the soul travels on a journey along the Nile toward Luxor associated with ascension comes in the form of a video game called, Luxor. One of the screens of the game is shown in the right image. A player gets to this screen as he/she approaches enlightenment. Note the figure pointing the way toward Luxor.

Another indication that there is some significance to the bend in the Nileis associated with both Abydos and Luxor (Star in left image shows location ofAbydos). Ancient Egyptians called the place before the bend a gateway/passage for the soul and it was connected with Abydos. The image on the right is from the Book of the Dead and is a depiction of the journey of the soul (Duat) from Abydos to Luxor. Note in the image that overlays the Duator journey begins at Abydos and ends at the heart or Luxor with stars matching the bend of the Nile. (For more info on Abydos and the Nile related to the Duat, see Nile & Egyptian Culture Photo Pages).

As previously mentioned, there is a video game called, Luxor in which the majority of the time the player is focused in around the bend in the Nile River. What is curious about the game is that its designers chose to create various mazes and labyrinths that you must navigatethrough on your way to enlightenment at the Great Pyramid in Giza. (See pyramid shown on left side of each screen image) Even more interesting is when you tie in the location of the pyramid in relation to Abydos as described above related to the journey of the soul.

Another connection between Luxor and the Great Pyramid relates to the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. First, is the fact that they called the hotel, Luxor rather than Giza. Next, is placement of a light on top of the pyramid. This light when first installed was reported being seen by NASA astronauts while orbiting Earth. As described in our literature concerning the ancient term for pyramid or “mer” means, “light,” it is believed that the pyramids in their original grandeur having a polished white limestone could easily be seen from space. In addition, the missing capstone is speculated to be a gigantic quartz crystal that would reflect the sun and also be easily seen from space. Maybe the architect of the Luxor Hotel intuitively knew this and was guided to recapture the Great Pyramid’s namesake, “light.” As did the designer of the video game, Luxor, which has you journey through labyrinths concluding at the Great Pyramid. This activates your Mer-ka-ba or Light Spirit Body, and connects your heart chakra to the Pyramid of Light residing in the 5th dimension.

Luxor is a beautiful city in itself. And not as well known as the famous Cairo Museum, the Luxor Museum contains “choice” pieces. A must see as shown on the right, the displays are of top quality. And one of the most beautiful statues can be seen of Isis holding the Horus child (far right). This is known to be portraying the story of Divine Mother with Holy Child, i.e., identical images thousands years later of Mary holding Jesus. In fact, many similarities exist between what Jesus represented as he grew into adulthood and became aware of his role, just as Horus, the Elder did.

This beautiful statue of Akhenaten in the photo on the left (Other spellings are Akhnaten and Akhunaton) can also be seen at the Luxor Museum. Akhenaten, formally known as Amenhotep, changed his name when he became king. He was husband to Nerfertiti and father to several children with the most famous being, Tutankhamun, who later became known as the boy King Tut. Akhenaten is best known for bringing the concept of one Creator to Egypt and differentiating between “God” and “Creator.”

This was done to the dismay of the Egyptian Priests that honored the war god or “The Hidden One.” Some say most of today’s major religions’ are honoring this god, Amen. Akhenaten attempted to undue the misuse of the practices brought forth of educating Priests in the Ancient Mystery Schools by former Atlanteans. Over thousands of years, the priests systematically hid esoteric information and truths from the public, and often even the pharaoh for their own power, control and greed purposes. With their leader, Amen directing them in a god-fearing-manner, this practice is still alive today and is enforced by what is commonly referred to as the Illuminati or Cabal. For more information on Akhenaten, the priests, and “The Hidden One” told from an enlightened perspective, read Akhunaton: the Extraterrestrial King written by Daniel Blair Stewart

Akhenaten was also known for moving Egypt's capital to the sparkling emerald city of Amarna. Also referred to as Akhetaten , which means "Horizon of the Aten," this city, its hieroglyphs and most statues pertaining to Akhenaten and his family were brutally destroyed by the Priests in a “burn the books-hang the witches-Nazi-like” crusade. Fortunately small remnants of hieroglyphs and statues were hidden away by trusted followers of Akhenaten. One of these surviving statues is shown in the photo.

It should be noted that Akhenaten carried on the Egyptian tradition and gave strict instructions to artists to draw and depict exactly what they saw. It was said that from time to time, artists would change Akhenaten’s shape or draw him as a typical human and he would destroy the images. Note the unusual body shape of Akhenaten and height (estimated at over 7 foot). He is believed to be of Extraterrestrial origin.

In addition to Akhenaten’s unusual physical appearance being “not of this planet’s”, this famous surviving hieroglyphic scene shows the children having elongated skulls and protruding abdomens like dad. And in a deliberate attempt at showing that this in fact was a portrait, i.e., the artist drew what he/she saw, note the playfulness of the children to include Akhenaten kissing oneof his daughters and patting her on the head while another daughter points this out to mom, Nerfertiti. Meanwhile, one of the sons pays with mom’s ankh earring. In addition, this scene depicts Aten (sun), the single Creator giving “eternal life” using ankh symbols at the end of the rays. All in all this is one of the most moving, powerful and revealing scenes from Ancient Egypt.

As mentioned above, the children of Akhenaten and Nerfertiti all had one distinctive feature in common: elongated skulls. Pictured (left photo) here from a display case in the Cairo Museum, these are some of the works of art modeled of their children.

Lesser known, but intriguing is that the children take after “mom.” The above photo is how most people recognize Queen Nerfertiti. However, a statue done of her without her “hat” clearly shows her elongated skull (right photo). Perhaps this is where the idea for the “Cone Heads” came from, which was a skit on Saturday Night Live and movie starring Dan Ackroyd and Jane Curtain in the early 1980s! Remember, Cone Heads were from another planet! (They got that right).

King Tut’s mummy is shown on the left in the ornate gold death mask. Recently, scientists “for purely scientific reasons” took x-rays of the mummy and were especially interested in his head. To their surprise, the same elongated skull feature was revealed. (See right picture) It should be noted that only some of the physical bodies (mummies) of Akhenaten's family have been found. The others are believed by enlightened people to have ascended in some manner, particularly Akhenaten..

Elongated skulls can be found in Central and South America. Shown at the top left is an elongated skull overlaid on top of a human skull. The right top photo is an elongated pre-Incan skull found in Peru. Not to be confused with elongated skulls found throughout Peru and up into the Yucatan in Mexico where Incan and Mayan people practiced emulating Beings with this kind of head (like Nerfertiti) by wrapping babies heads and forcing the skull to become elongated.

The difference is noticeable for two reasons. One is the mark of the wraps pulled tight across the skull. Two, the angle of the “forced” elongation is different than the skull above from a Being born this way. Still historians dismiss the real elongated skulls by talking about the practice of deforming skulls. You have to ask, “Why would any mother want to deform her child’s head?”The answer is because she wanted her child to appear like the “Beings that came from the sky” and were revered as “gods.”

Then there are 12+ crystal skulls discovered primarily in Central and South America that are shaped like a human skull, but made from pure quartz crystal. More amazing is one of them is elongated! (See photo on the right) Perhaps there is a clue in the idea of programming crystals, like we are already doing in today’s computer processors. Along the same line of thinking, the skulls might represent a person’s DNA and other coded information, which holds the possibility of “accessing the data.”Given this, imagine what knowledge could be gained from accessing the data in the elongated skull that is Extraterrestrial.
