Lisa Edwards has been initiated in the “Way of the Cartouche” and is a facilitator for the Egyptian Cartouche Initiations. She will be taking her knowledge and gifts to Egypt on a sacred pilgrimage October 13-23, 2007. Each of her guests will receive all 25 initiations and many will be performed at the site that most actively holds the vibration of that particular initiation. What are ‘The Egyptian Cartouche Initiations’ and how can they influence my life? They are made up of 25 initiations. The initiations are taught in five sets of five each. The initiation into Egyptian symbolism brings the participating initiate into a state of increased awareness and clarity. Many initiates have commented on having very vivid dreams after their initiation. They also enhance healing powers and psychic development that were taught in the ancient mystery schools of Ancient Egypt and Atlantis. Each initiation is an attunement to an archetypal symbol or energy used in Ancient Egypt.
“Cartouche encapsulates those archetypal energies which were known and understood by the ancient Egyptians and embodies them in identities easily recognizable in today’s world. It acts as a bridge between day-to-day things and the transpersonal or Higher Self, which makes it very much a part of the Aquarian Age, the age of individual responsibility.” Each archetype has its own specific energy or vibration. When the symbols are worked with energetically or meditated upon, they can bring out the characteristics of that particular vibration or quality deep within us, allowing us to channel that energy. For example, by channeling the archetypal symbol representing Horus, the God of Balance and son of Isis and Osiris, we call forth the qualities and characteristics of physical healing, creativity, courage, and heroism. When working with the energies of Goddess Isis, we bring forth within ourselves the qualities of compassion, magic, nurturing, and maternal love. These energies will work through us on whatever level they are needed.
The ancient sites in Egypt still hold the energies of the aspects represented by the Gods and Goddess. On the Island of Philea stands the Temple of Isis that activates, for those who are aware and awake, the vibrations and qualities of the Mother Goddess. The Temple of Horus is in Edfu a town along the Nile River. The powerful aspects represented by Horus are present within every room, stairway, column, and alter. Another very sacred place in Egypt is in the town of Abydos. Here is found the Osirian a site that dates back over 10,000 years and holds the protecting vibration of God Osiris; the patriarch that represents honesty, responsibility, wisdom, and stability. Thoth, the God of Knowledge, is honored in the Temple of Seti in Abydos. This energy activates the healer, educator, and creator in those that open to the vibrations. The Temple of Hathor is found in the province of Qena near the city of Dendara. The Goddess Hathor represents the aspects of joy, laughter, self-assurance, patience and harmony. With these aspects awake within each of us our world would be a more peaceful place.
The Ancient Egyptian symbols of the Cartouche Initiations capture the essence of the forces of energies that govern the universe. The symbols used in the initiations can be found on the Egyptian temple walls, around the pyramids, in the tombs, and on old papyrus scrolls. To facilitate the Cartouche Initiations are the Cartouche Cards that were created by Jared J. Collard. The cards were taken from the book “The Way of Cartouche” written by Murry Hope. Each card can be used for meditation, divination, healing or magic when used properly. Vibrations are passed subconsciously to the cards when handled. After receiving the Cartouche Initiations in Egypt at the original sites, the cards are a way to personally work with all aspects of the self to achieve the balance necessary to evolve and expand in this lifetime.
