Many of us are concerned about the days ahead when it comes to our
finances. Concern will create more
concern and more concern and more concern. When
we open our knowingness to the truth of creation, then all things are
possible in the moment. All
we have to do is call it forth into our consciousness. Being concerned holds a lot of
the space in our conscious minds. This
pattern will keep all of us from manifesting our greatest desires. It is time to get out of our own
way and trust that in this moment everything is perfect and complete.
An Indian seer once said, "You are where your attention takes
you. In
fact you are your attention. If
your attention is fragmented, you are fragmented. When your attention is in the
past, you are in the past. When
your attention is in the present moment, you are in the presence of God,
and God is present in you." This
is the presence that creates and manifests in this wonderful drama called
life. The fear of lack will do
nothing except keep us in mediocrity, a fragmented past that steals from
our dreams. It is time now to take action and become the superior beings
that we know we are.

Mohamed Nazmy, president of Quest Travel our sister company in Egypt and
dear friend, is recovering nicely from a stroke his body sustained in
April. I recently spoke to him in
Cairo where he is undergoing physical therapy. He feels with
the help of the therapists, friends, and family he will be back to his old
self real soon.
Emil Shaker, his brother in Spirit, has been going daily to work with
him. Emil said and I quote,
" I have mastered him and he is working hard. We are very happy!"
Thank you to everyone that has been holding the light for this wonderful
man. He told me to say he is in
great appreciation! I

In the Beginning the Word Was God [1]
Ancient Sound Temple at Sakkara

Egypt is home to some of the most significant ancient buildings on
Earth, and Sakkara is no exception. Also spelled Saqqara, it is a massive
complex that has been hidden in the shadow of its sister complex, the Giza
Plateau. Situated a mere 30 minutes drive south, Sakkara holds just as many
mysteries, if not more, than Giza. For starters, the name Sakkara in
Ancient Egyptian is kbhw-ntrw and means 'libation of the deities'
[2]. Libation has a variety of ancient definitions, to include: anoint, light and heaven. One
translation involves reproprosity, which intriguingly defines a place to
anoint the gods and be anointed.
 The Sakkara complex is massive and
extends for miles. It has several pyramids. However, most are destroyed,
and one is buried with its apex over fifteen feet under ground. The
now famous Step Pyramid is actually the newest of numerous structures,
including most of the pyramids in Egypt. One other stair-stepped pyramid is
under the Step Pyramid, as well as three platforms of various sizes beneath
these. The oldest structure is actually a vertical tunnel [3] that begins
approximately a hundred feet under the Step Pyramid and platforms (or
approximately 300 feet from the apex). It extends at least another hundred
feet down from there and is centered under one platform (See diagram). So
when "scholars" call the Step Pyramid the oldest structure, it is
because, to admit otherwise  means the original buildings are much
older than 5000 years. This does not fit their religious beliefs.
Other 'anomalies' exist at Sakkara. In addition to the fact that there
are structures built on top of ancient structures, there is clear evidence
that the oldest exhibit a more complex construction and far more
fascinating purpose. As shown in the photo on the left, this "section
of a massive enclosure wall is 34 feet high and 5,398 feet long. 34 feet is
equal to 20 royal Egyptian cubits and 5,398 feet is equal to 3,141.5
cubits, which is a  very precise expression of π times 1,000." [4] The right photo shows part
the temple buildings against the back drop of the deteriorating Step
Pyramid. Note its distinctive architecture and that the skillfully laser
cut stones are still intact in spite of the fact they are far older. This
walled complex and the temples were a part of the Ancient Mystery Schools
and were associated with sound and the throat chakra.
 Now take
a moment. Step back in time now and remember…Picture
yourself as an Initiate walking up to the massive entrance, which
once held a solid stone door, chanting a series of tones in order to open
it. Then, entering a narrow hall, you would start to feel vibrations
undulating through you causing a tingling sensation. Naturally closing your
eyes, you would continue into the enclosed courtyard where only a few have
walked before you. It is in the midst of towering columns curved in such a
way to hear what can only be described as the stones 'humming' along with a
choir of angels. You allow these angelic tones to move in and out of you,
raising your energy to higher frequencies.
As you exit the interior space, you enter the vast courtyard, where
an electromagnetic field has created a fifth dimensional space resembling a
space age bubble. You feel light and euphoric. You begin to see vibrant
colors and Beings of different sizes and shapes not normally seen by the
physical eyes. Pivoting in awe, you realize that you are actually
levitating. [5] You stare down at your feet in delight. Your senses on
overload. You are memorized by the vividness and beauty. Yet you still feel
drawn toward a path along the side. As you glide through the courtyard
gazing around, you round the corner and are greeted by Beings adorned in
white robes. They gesture toward the sound chambers. You intuitively lean
in and begin toning the sacred "Om."
"Ommmm. Aummmm. Ommmm. Ommmm..." At some point you lose
sense of who or what you are, hearing yourself perform a series of tones
familiar only on a subconscious level. Then, it happens. There is a tone
that reverberates from your core and out your throat chakra. This is your
God tone. You stand in awareness of your physical self, and experience your
expanded Self all at once. A feeling accompanies this knowingness, and you
place it now and forever in your heart chakra. Sensing it is done, you turn
and step out from the sound chamber. Congratulations are given by the other
Initiates and various Beings. You feel exuberant, wishing for this moment
to last forever. And it does…you need only to
remember.
Returning to today, this is a far cry from most of our lives which are
filled with distractions and a focus on making ends meet. However, it is
important to create or seek places of sanctuary for individual spiritual
advancement, which in turns raises global consciousness. Very few places on
Earth have parts of the Ancient Mystery Schools intact. Sakkara offers
buildings and energy to facilitate travelers today who would like to
recreate a portion of what Initiates experienced at the Sound Temple.
Fortunately, sacred journeys offered by companies such as Luminati Egyptian

Turquoise & the Throat Chakra in Ancient Egypt
In Ancient Egypt, turquoise was used in
association with the throat chakra and sound. The most famous use is the
menat necklace, shown in the image to the left and worn by the Goddess Hathor. It had a special
counterweight and was not actually jewelry. In a ceremony for the
would-be king, the Goddess would make a sound with it, like a conduit,
and according to translations, 'pass power to the king.' (Image is

Egyptian Animals Were Mummified Same Way as Humans

The ancient Egyptians mummified more than just human corpses. Animals were viewed not only as pets, but as incarnations of gods. As such, the Egyptians buried millions of mummified cats, birds, and other creatures at temples honoring their deities. Because of the sheer scale of animal mummy production, many archaeologists thought the vast majority were churned out in relatively slipshod fashion. But a new study suggests the mummification techniques ancient Egyptians used on animals were often as elaborate as those they employed on the best-preserved human corpses.
"Millions of animal mummies are known to exist, and there is some debate whether they were treated with the same sort of reverence and sophistication as human mummies," said Richard Evershed, the study's co-author. "We found pretty much exactly the same materials were used on both."
Lizard, fish, and even beetle mummies from ancient Egypt have been unearthed. Pets were also mummified and buried in tombs with their owners. Such pets weren't limited to dogs and cats but included baboons, monkeys, and gazelles. As with other animals, the exact embalming procedures involved in pet mummification remains largely unknown. Evershed, the study coauthor, said, "The mummification process just isn't documented by the ancient Egyptians, which is why we are doing the chemical analysis. It was a secretive process."
New Pyramid Discovered at Sakkara

Egyptian archaeologists have discovered missing sections of the so-called Sphinx Road and the bottom part of an unknown pyramid in Sakkara area some 30 kilometers south of Cairo. The Sakkara area hosts Egypt's oldest pyramids. In a press release, the Egyptian Supreme Council for Antiquities (SCA) today announced the discovery of the bottom part of a pyramid, which was believed to belong to King Menkauhor - from 2444 BC to 2436 BC - of the Fifth Dynasty.
Sakkara is the main section of the great necropolis belonging to the city of Memphis; the Old Kingdom capital. Most of the kings of the Memphis-based 1st dynasty as well as those of the 2nd dynasty are buried in this section of the capital's necropolis. It is a place that has been of constant interest to Egyptologists. It is believed that the discovered parts of the road are connected to the passage leading to Anubis Temples of the jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology.
Sakkara is best known for the Step Pyramid, the oldest known of Egypt's 97 pyramids. It was built for King Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty by the architect and genius Imhotep, who designed it and its surrounding complex to be as grand as it was; unique and revolutionary. In addition to the newly discovered and the Djoser pyramid, there are another 16 pyramids on the site.

Ancient Egyptian Temple Entrance Found in Nile River

Archaeologists have discovered a portico, or covered entryway, of an ancient Egyptian temple beneath the surface of the Nile River. The entryway once led to the temple of the ram-headed fertility god Khnum, experts say. A team of Egyptian archaeologist-divers found the portico in Aswan while conducting the first-ever underwater surveys of the Nile, which began earlier this year. The massive portico is too large to be removed during the current excavation, but archaeologists removed a one-ton stone with inscriptions that could date from the 22nd dynasty (945-712 B.C.) to 26th dynasty (664-525 B.C.). The stone itself could be much older, however, because like many objects throughout Egyptian history, the original materials of the Temple of Khnum were reused to construct newer buildings.
Today's Nile obscures many objects from ancient times, and archaeologists believe the underwater excavations will reveal other significant artifacts. Plans are underway to conduct a complete survey of the Nile from Aswan to Luxor starting in September (see Egypt map). In continued underwater surveys Egyptian archaeologists expect to find more antiquities in the Nile, not only because of waters that rose throughout the centuries, but also because of accidents and natural disasters that caused objects to fall underwater.
In other places in the Nile, excavators such as the 19th-century French archaeologist Auguste Mariette, lost important archaeological objects in the water as they were being shipped to Europe from sites up and down the Nile. "Auguste Mariette moved obelisks from Dar Abu Naga in Luxor. There were two obelisks that were drowned 10 meters (32 feet) opposite the Temple of Karnak. And that is [only] what is known," Secretary General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, Zahi Hawass said.
