Hi Everyone, What a wonderful summer we are having here in Arizona. The monsoons have already started and the rain is glorious. I love our desert when it rains. You can feel the plants and animals take a well deserved breath of fresh air after months of dry imposing heat. The smells are earthy and the colors rich as the dust is washed away. The birds’ songs are joyful, the Quail bring their families out to play, and the rabbits have a picnic on the lawn. I have some grass in my backyard and these life scenes are wonderful to watch.
This is, also, how I feel after a peaceful moment of contemplation. It is wonderful to clear the dust away and relax in the energy of Spirit. Menita speaks of resting in the ‘harmony of light’ for clarity and a sense of peace. He is so right! My world has been busy and filled with challenges in the last few months. After relaxing in Spirit the clutter moves away and things become clearer. I am able to see the dramas in a clear light in order to take the necessary action to create the peace necessary for my personal desires to manifest. Thank you Spirit for these moments of clarity.
Contemplation with Intent is a very simple technique for clearing the dust from your life.
First find a place to relax where you won’t be disturbed for about 15 minutes. Then sit or lay quietly with your eyes closed allowing the mind chatter to flow through and out. Let it chatter on without giving it any special attention and you will notice that it will quiet considerably. At this time hold in your mind an intention for peace and love to flow from the bottom of your feet out through the top of your head like a fountain of warm water. Feel this glorious energy covering your entire body. Take a deep satisfying breath and exhale with sound. Rest in the liquid light of divine love for as long as you choose. You will know when it is time to breath deeply again and open your eyes. Believe me you will feel a million times more connected and feel relaxed beyond measure.
Have fun for the rest of the summer and remember to breathe. Life is too important to take seriously, so laugh, play, and gather with friends that make your heart sing.

Tuesday, Sept.4, 2008: Departure to Egypt for those traveling from JFK, NY to Cairo. This is an overnight flight arriving in Cairo on Sept. 5.
Day One, Wednesday, Sept. 5: Upon arrival in Cairo we are greeted in the airport by a Quest Travel / Luminati representative who will provide us with our Egyptian Visa, guide us through immigration, collect our bags, and assist with customs. An air-conditioned bus will take us to the 5-star Le Meridian Pyramids Hotel near the Giza Plateau. The rest of the day is on your own to relax by the pool and explore the hotel.
Day Two, Thursday, Sept. 6: In the morning our group will meet for the first time for an orientation. After the orientation Amy Reed, a Deeksha Master, will lead us through a meditation for peace and love on the planet as well as within each of us. After the meditation we will be taken to the world famous Cairo Museum. Here you will see ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures from King Tut’s tomb. Lunch will be provided in a wonderful Egyptian restaurant near Khan El Kalili with shopping after.
DayThree, Friday, Sept. 7: An early drive in the countryside will take us to the port city of Alexandra. Here we will explore the treasures recently taken from the underwater palace of Cleopatra in the Alexandra Museum. After lunch we will have a peaceful drive back to Cairo.
DayFour, Saturday, Sept. 8: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the delicious buffet. We will be gathering together for a channeling with Menita Ishmil, a seventh level master speaking through Shelia Reed. He will tell us about the 9-9-9 Event tomorrow in the Great Pyramid and will speak to the group about manifesting your reality. Each of us will be creating our greatest desires during the pyramid ceremony as we focus on unconditional love and peace for the world. This afternoon our group will be driven to the Step Pyramid in Sakkara 30 minutes outside of Cairo. As a special gift to our group, Quest Travel has arranged for us to have the entire complex privately and will be allowed the privilege of going inside the pyramid. Day Five, Sunday, Sept. 9: Our sunrise ceremony will be in the Paws of the Sphinx. Since the public can only observe the Sphinx from above, being next to the Sphinx and in the paws is another gift. We have received special permission to have our meditation at this sacred place. After the meditation there will be time to explore. After we will tour the Giza plateau with its 3 magnificent pyramids. Breakfast at the hotel is next and then a special treat. We have been blessed with the opportunity to see a film on the poet Rumi who was one of the troubadours for peace. Our ceremony in the Great Pyramid to activate the planetary merkaba and send love and light to the world will begin around 3:30 pm. This will be a two hour private visit and our ceremony will take place in the Queens and Kings Chambers. Tonight we will meet as a group to talk about our experiences during the 9-9-9 ceremony.
Day Six, Monday, Sept. 10: After breakfast, Sue Denniston, MFA, Master Artist, has prepared an art project to do as a group in memory of this extraordinary journey and to document symbols received. Later, Samone Myers will present her knowledge of sacred places around the world and their connection to each other. Tonight we will celebrate with a very special farewell dinner.
Day Seven, Tuesday, Sept. 11: Time to Fly, some to Aswan for the extension and others back home.

EXCERPT FROM MENITA'S WORKSHOP WEEK-END JUNE 2007
During this special weekend in Cave Creek, AZ the group of facilitators for the ‘Circle the Pyramid Event’ came together to work with the energies of Menita and other Masters to complete plans for a successful Event. The excerpt below comes from Sekhmet the Goddess of Personal Power through Shelia Reed.
Don: Can you give us a preview of what's going to happen in Egypt in September? Sekhmet: I cannot. I only know that it’s going to be a very powerful ceremony inside the King’s Chamber. It has been shifted. There is indeed, if you truly look while you are there, a large vibrational pattern that has built over the last nine of your years. And it's very massive! And it has spread and it has spewed from the top of the pyramid, and it has already started the process of gathering in the grid. If you see indeed that which would be called a ball, and all around the ball is a screen, and it's just folded around the ball. A screen. This is the grid, and it is your grid that you've created over the centuries. It is the social grid that comes from the third dimension. This is very important. Without this grid, you cannot pull that which you call your creation into mass. So you must have it. Otherwise you're not going to be able to create anything or be here at all. So for people to say that we need to get rid of that which is the social conscious grid are not thinking. What will occur in the pyramid is that this energy that has already started to move will completely surround this screen (grid) around Earth. And, then a ceremony will be done…… it was already started with the fire ceremony that you had before. (in 2006 the Event facilitator group had a ceremony in the Kings Chamber using the concept of the fire element) It is about the element of fire. Do you remember that one? In the King’s Chamber—Menita's fire ceremony. Now, that fire is going to build (during the ceremony on 9-9-9). And what does fire usually do? It moves (things to gaseous form). It's going to melt (metaphor) until everything (vibrational energy of unconditional love) literally is dispersed as a gaseous form all around your planet. Now what is the point of that? You want change? You have to change the grid. You have to change what people manifest. You have to change those that have not woken to the idea that they create their own reality. See? So then (after the ceremony on 9-9-9) what do you have to work with? You have a grid filled with unconditional love so that when you talk to your neighbor, you are speaking from your heart, because that is what this love is about. It's a compassionate Quan Yin. It's the mother Goddess Isis. It's Osiris, the master energy that creates the planet day in and day out, moment after moment, if you want to use these words. ………………………... You can now make a choice to do something different. If an entire world of people actually said to their neighbor, “Good Morning” with a smile, your world would change in an instant. When you gather, you wouldn’t have to be told to connect your hearts or to share vibration. You would just know that you are. This will happen to people everywhere, every day that don't normally do that. A lady that walks into her office and she sits and she's usually extremely miserable, that day she feels beautiful, because she looked in the mirror and she said “Oh, something happened to me today.” And what happened—love. Love from a social conscious grid that she has been manifesting from since she was a baby, but now she is accessing unconditional love. And the love comes from the heart—true love. Not physical love, not human love, but the love of the God that she is, looking and saying, “Ahh, I'm actually getting nourishment. I'm not having to eat a negative light. There is actually beautiful love that I can eat today.” And when you feed on God love, what are you going to get in return? Beautiful. Tasty cake. Subtle but powerful. |

'Find of century' for Egyptology
Egyptologists say they have identified the 3,000-year-old mummy of Hatshepsut, Egypt's most powerful female ruler.
Egypt's antiquities chief Zahi Hawass made the official announcement at a packed news conference in Cairo.
It is being billed as the biggest archaeological find in Egypt since the 1922 discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb.
Archaeologists hope the mummy, which has lain unrecognised for decades, will yield clues about the mystery of her death and subsequent disappearance.
Mr Hawass has set up a DNA lab near the museum with an international team of scientists to verify the identification.
The study was funded by the US television channel Discovery which is to broadcast a documentary on the subject in July.
An important piece of the evidence is said to be that the mummy has a missing tooth, and the gap matches exactly an existing relic, a preserved tooth engraved with Hatshepsut's name...

Ancient Egyptian City Spotted From Space

Satellites hovering above Egypt have zoomed in on a 1,600-year-old metropolis, archaeologists say.
Images captured from space pinpoint telltale signs of previous habitation in the swatch of land 200 miles south of Cairo, which digging recently confirmed as an ancient settlement dating from about 400 A.D.
The find is part of a larger project aiming to map as much of ancient Egypt's archaeological sites, or "tells," as possible before they are destroyed or covered by modern development.
"It is the biggest site discovered so far," said project leader Sarah Parcak of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. "Based on the coins and pottery we found, it appears to be a massive regional center that traded with Greece, Turkey and Libya."
Another large city dating to 600 B.C. and a monastery from 400 A.D. are some of the four hundred or so sites that Parcak has located during her work with the satellites. The oldest dates back over 5,000 years.
Egypt contains a wealth of already identified archaeological tells like these, but even they represent only about 0.01 percent of what is out there still uncovered, Parcak said.
Most of the ancient settlements still buried are at risk of being lost to looting and urban sprawl. Residential sites, where the Egyptian empire's millions of citizens lived during its heyday, are especially vulnerable, archaeologists say.
"There are thousands of settlements that Egyptians don't even know are there," Parcak told LiveScience. "Nothing will ever destroy the Pyramids or the Temple of Luxor, but these huge settlement sites where we get a lot of information are being threatened. And that's how we find out how people lived."

World's oldest bowling alley found in Egypt

CAIRO, May 28 (RIA Novosti) - Italian archeologists have found in Egypt what may be the world's oldest indoor bowling alley, Egyptian media said Monday.
A spacious room, with a shallow lane running through into a pit and two heavy stone balls lying nearby, was found at an ancient site in the province of Al-Fayyum, 90 kilometers (56 miles) south of Cairo, and appears to be man's first attempt to create an area for a game that was to become the prototype for modern-day bowling, archeologists taking part in the excavations were reported as saying.
The site dates back to the Ptolemaic era, which began in 332 B.C with Ptolemy I Soter declaring himself Pharaoh of Egypt following Alexander the Great's conquest, and ended with the Roman conquest in 30 B.C.
The period bowling room was apparently part of a residential building, with papyruses, pottery and copper utensils found at the site in abundance.
