Day Two:
Thursday, Sept. 25 El Abu Garab /
Saqqara/ Tombs of the Nobles
El Abu Gharab is the first sacred site we visit today. We will walk through a mango orchard to the edge of the desert. A short hike in the sand takes us to one of the oldest monuments built by the ancients. El Abu Gharab is an archeological site and not opened to the public. Legend says it is a spaceport with a landing slab four feet thick. Measurements tell
us that the slab was machine made from a solid piece of alabaster. Next we travel to the Old Kingdom necropolis of Saqqara with its Step Pyramid. This special place holds the energy of the 5th charka. Activating our 5th center will allow our voices to be heard through the initiation of sound. Our next stop will be the fabulous Tombs of the Nobles with their vivid symbolic reliefs depicting everyday life in ancient Egypt. They are so well preserved that one wonders how they
could have survived for over 4000 years. On our way back to the hotel, we will stop at a carpet factory to see the traditional art of hand weaving silk and wool into gorgeous carpets. Lunch will be provided at a typical Egyptian restaurant where they serve hot delicious pita bread, salads, and shish-kabob. B/L

We will lunch on board; then, take a small Egyptian sail boat, a felucca, to see Elephantine Island and other sites along the shore of the Nile. For those of you with a sense of adventure, we will go to the Aswan market for spices,
souvenirs, and much more. The sounds and smells will take you back in time. B/L/D
Day Five:
Sunday, Sept. 28 Philae Temple / Kom Ombo / Edfu
We will rise early and leave by bus to visit Philae the Temple of Isis. Upon arrival our group will celebrate the Mother Goddess in the sacred sanctuary of Isis, activating the 1st chakra, as we re-member the magic we hold within. Our guide will share the history of Philae and give us private time to explore. Next, we will sail to Kom Ombo, the Temple of Two Gods. Here we will experience the
energy of this sacred healing temple dedicated to Horus and Seth. These 2 aspects of self live peacefully together realizing that to know good we must experience the opposite. Our activation will be connected with the 2nd chakra. After experiencing this temple, we cruise on to Edfu. B/L/D
Day Six: Monday, Sept. 29 Edfu / Luxor
A buggy ride will take us to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. This temple celebrates the movement of third dimensional energy to the fourth dimension. Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris, ascends the third plane into the heart of unconditional love. This is accomplished through his battle with Seth the negative aspect we all have within us. The energy of Edfu helps us identify our world by activating
the 3rd chakra. Our cruising will take us through the Esna lock and on to Luxor. B/L/D
Day Seven: Tuesday, Sept. 30 Dendara / Abydos
This morning we will join a caravan through the countryside of Egypt to Dendara, the Temple of Hathor, the mistress of the cycle of time, the Goddess of love, joy, and dance. Activation of our 4th chakra at this sacred temple of love will prepare us for our experience in the heart of Egypt, Luxor. The Temple was built during the reign of Ptolemy XII around 80-51 BC. It is truly a magnificent temple
to behold with chapels, chambers, staircases, and columns. A crypt that we will visit gives new meaning to the words ‘let there be light’. Abydos, the Temple of Osiris, has seven sanctuaries dedicated to Seti 1, Ptah, Harakhte, Amun Ra, Osiris, Isis, and Horus. All over the temple you can feel the energy of Thoth, the god of wisdom. Some say the head of Osiris is buried in the Osirian that was discovered by Seti 1 when he built the original temple over 4000 years ago. Here
you will see a ‘flower of life’ that dates back over 5000 years. As you may have guessed, this is the place where we activate our 6th chakra for vision and intuition. Our drive back to the Luxor will give us time to contemplate these spectacular temples. Time to pack for our move to the Sonesta St. George Hotel tomorrow morning. B/L/D
Day Eight: Wednesday, Oct. 1 West Bank / Sonesta St. George / Luxor Temple
This morning our group will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent hieroglyphic reliefs depict the journey of the Pharoah through the underworld to the land of Ra. Then we will see the Funerary of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and Medinat Habu the temple of Ramses. After lunch at the African Restaurant, we will transfer from our ship to the beautiful Sonesta St. George Hotel. In
the evening our guide will take us to Luxor Temple where we will walk the avenue of the Ram Headed Sphinx’s. B/L
Day Nine: Thursday, Oct 2 Karnak Temple/ Fly to Cairo
This will be a very early morning so that we can arrive at Karnak Temple before the crowds. Karnak Temple is dedicated to the Invisible God, Amun Ra. Our ceremony in the ‘holy of holies’ will bring full circle the energy we have been experiencing throughout our journey. Our hearts will be opened and joy allowed to flow like a great fountain as we again awaken our 4th chakra. We will also
visit the Chapel of Sekhmet, the Goddess of Personal Power that will balance the two sides of our physical Isness. After our visit we will have a short flight back to Cairo. This evening we will gather as a group to discuss our ceremony at the Sphinx and Great Pyramid scheduled for tomorrow. B
Day Ten: Friday, Oct. 3 Pyramids / Sphinx Farewell Dinner
We will start our day by paying respect to the Sphinx, the great lion sentinel of the plateau. We then visit the three pyramids saving the Great Pyramid until last. It is at this time our group will experience the magical energy of the Great Pyramid with our optional private time inside for ceremony in the Queens Chamber and Kings Chamber. A delightful camel ride into the desert awaits
us after our private pyramid visit. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest, contemplation and integration. It is also time to pack for our journey home. Tonight you will enjoy a very special evening while celebrating magnificent Egypt at a farewell dinner. B / D
