DETAILED ITINERARY

Departure Day: Sunday, October 31, 2009

Egypt Air flight for those traveling with us to Cairo leaves at 6:30PM EST from JFK in NY (over-night flight).

Day One: Monday, November 1, Arrive Cairo, Egypt   

Upon arrival in Cairo, we are greeted in the airport by a Quest Travel/Luminati representative who will provide us with our Egyptian Visa, guide us through immigration, collect our bags, and assist with customs.  An air-conditioned bus will take us to the luxurious Meridien Pyramids Hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to unwind, relax by the pool, and explore. This evening we will get together as a group to discuss our journey and prepare to open all charkas one by one at upcoming temple visits.  Opening and balancing each charka allows us to make room for that which we desire to manifest in our lives for ourselves and as a group for all humankind.  Our group work will begin with a meditation listing those things we want to bring into our lives and things that will assist in raising the vibration of Mother Earth.

Day Two: Tuesday, November 2, Saqqara /Dahshur

We travel today to the Old Kingdom Necroplis of Saqqara with its Step Pyramid.  This complex was built in the 3rd Dynasty by Pharaoh Djoser.  The temple at Sakkara is believed to be a very important part of the Ancient Mystery Schools where individuals were to enter by walking through the long corridor of columns--an initiation in itself.—and only the pure of heart could enter.  Once Initiates gained entrance, they entered a “sound chamber” designed specifically to amplify sound.  This is associated with the 5th chakra.  While here at this most appropriate temple, we will clear and activate our 5th chakra, allowing our voices to be heard throughout our journey of Manifesting Through Group Consciousness.  (Temple Ceremony will be lead by Menita, 9th Dimension Group Composite channeled by Sheila Reed).

Our next stop will be the fabulous Tombs of the Nobles with their vivid symbolic reliefs depicting everyday life in ancient Egypt.  They are so well preserved that one wonders how they could have survived for over 4,000 years. On our way back, we will stop at a carpet factory to see the traditional art of hand weaving silk and wool into gorgeous carpets.  Lunch will be provided at a typical Egyptian restaurant where they serve hot delicious pita bread, salads, and shish-kabob.  B/L    (Group Consciousness workshop slot available at hotel)

Day Three: Wednesday, November 3, Aswan / Begin our Nile Cruise

Let’s fly... an early transfer to the Cairo airport and we are off to Aswan, a beautiful city in Upper Egypt, where we will join our Nile cruise on the M/S Sonesta Moon Goddess.  We will have lunch on board, then take a small Egyptian sail boat, a felucca, to see Elephantine Island and other sites along the shore of the Nile.  Now is the time for those of you ready to purchase [bargain for] Egyptian spices, Galabayas (Egyptian dress), alabaster, statues, T-shirts, souvenirs and much more.  The hustle-bustle, aroma, and activity of the marketplace will enthrall and entertain you.  B/L/D

Day Four: Thursday, November 4, Philae / KomOmbo  

The main temple at Philae is dedicated to the Goddess Isis who is associated with birthing, creation and magic. She is considered the personification of the "complete female." Isis was called "The One Who Is All," and the "Lady of Ten Thousand Names."   You’ll find the temple walls covered from floor to ceiling with carved hieroglyphs and scenes which were originally--both inside and out--richly colored from crushed gemstones. Here we will clear and activate the 1st chakra.  

After our early morning adventure on the Island of Philae, we will sail to Kom Ombo, the Temple of Two Gods. Here we will experience the energy of this sacred healing temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek.  These two aspects of self live peacefully together realizing that to know good we must experience the opposite. Kom Ombo among other temples in Egypt, was a part of the Ancient Mysteries School and is believed that intuition and overcoming fear was studied here.  The 2nd chakra will be cleared and activated here.  We will again board our boat and cruise to Edfu.   B/L/D  (Loretta Greazzo will lead our group in a circle of Group Consciousness to create a personal list of energy we want to release to make room for manifesting what  we desire to create.)

Day Five: Friday, November 5, Edfu / Luxor  

We will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu which depicts “light” (creation)  versus “dark” (destruction) -- that which is within us all.  It celebrates the movement of third dimensional energy to the fourth dimension.  The energy of Edfu helps us identify our third dimensional world and here we’ll clear and activate the 3rd chakra, the “knowing consciousness.”  After enjoying this amazing temple we sail toward Luxor through the Essna lock.  This is your opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Nile and appreciate the life along her banks.  B/L/D  (Group Consciousness workshop slot available)

Day Six: Saturday, November 6, Dendara / Abydos

This morning we will join a caravan to Dendara, the temple is dedicated to Hathor, Goddess of love, joy , dance, --the Mistress of the Cycle of Time.  Almost every inch of every wall, column and ceiling contain hieroglyphs -- some still contain original colors. Each hieroglyph describes stories passed down through the ages by the Ancients.  Here you’ll find the first known zodiac.  The Temple was built during the reign of Ptolemy XII around 80-51 BC.  It’s chapels, chambers, staircases and columns, including a crypt we’ll visit that houses most unusual carvings.  Activation of our 4th chakra at this sacred temple of love will prepare us for our experience in the heart of Egypt, Luxor.  (Temple Ceremony will be lead by Menita, 9th Dimension Group Composite channeled by Sheila Reed).

 We next travel to mysterious Abydos, the Temple of Osiris, which has seven sanctuaries dedicated to Seti 1, Ptah, Harakhte, Amun Ra, Osiris, Isis, and Horus.  You’ll also feel the energy of Thoth, the god of wisdom.  Like most temples, it rests on top of yet another older structure. In this case, it is approximately 60 feet higher than the Ancient structure called, The Osirian Temple, which is named in honor of the Egyptian God, Osiris, is believed to be one of the oldest standing structures on the planet and relates to “creation.”   Look for the ‘flower of life’ symbol that dates back over 5000 years.   As you may have guessed, this is the place where we activate our 6th chakra for vision and intuition. Back to the Moon Goddess for our last evening on board. Time to pack for our move to the Sonesta St. George Hotel tomorrow morning.   B/L/D  

Day Seven: Sunday, November 7, Luxor Temple

After breakfast we will check-in to the luxurious St. George Hotel in downtown Luxor.  After settling in, there will be a short workshop celebrating and tuning in to our new awareness of vision and intuition that was opened in Abydos with the activation of our 6th Chakra.

After a workshop celebrating our intuitive selves, presented by Loretta Greazzo, the afternoon is free to relax and enjoy this beautiful hotel. In the evening our guide will take us to Luxor Temple where we will walk the avenue of the Ram-Headed Sphinx’s. Luxor Temple is a part of the ancient city of Thebes; the Arabs called it "Luxor" meaning " The City of Palaces" because of its magnificent edifices and impressive buildings.  After visiting the temple, we will have the opportunity to go to a store where you can buy jewelry, custom made galabaya’s, T-shirts with your name, and other items.  Here you can use your credit card safely.   B  

Day Eight: Monday, November 8, Valley of the Kings

This morning our group will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent hieroglyphic reliefs depict the journey of the Pharaoh through the underworld to the land of Ra.  Then we will see the Funerary of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and Medinat Habu the temple of Ramses.  For our shopping pleasure we will visit an alabaster shop with lovely hand made alabaster vases, bowls, and statues.  B/L

Day Nine: Tuesday, November 9, Karnak Temple

This will be a very early morning so that we can arrive at Karnak Temple before the crowds. Karnak Temple is dedicated to the Invisible God, Amun Ra. Our ceremony in the ‘holy of holies’ will bring full circle the energy we have been experiencing throughout our journey. Our hearts will be opened and joy will flow like a great fountain.  We will also visit the Chapel of Sekhmet, the Goddess of Personal Power that will balance the two sides of our physical Isness.    (Temple Ceremony will be lead by Menita, 9th Dimension Group Composite channeled by Sheila Reed).

Then we are off to the airport for a short flight back to Cairo.  Upon arrival our bus will take us to our hotel near the Great Pyramid.  After lunch on your own,  there will be a short Group Consciousness workshop lead by Teryl to balance the two sides of our physical Isness to enhance our personal power  using Egyptian Healing Rods.  Thereafter our group will visit a papyrus shop.  B  

Day Ten: Wednesday, November 10, Cairo Egyptian Museum /Khan el Khalili

This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of the world-famous Cairo Museum.  Here you will see ancient Egyptian artifacts like the Narmer Palette, Ra-hotep and Nefert’s legendary statues, Khafra’s immaculate diorite statue, statues of Queen Hatshepsut, treasures of King Tut and Ahkenhten to name but a few things. There will be time to explore the museum on your own.  After lunch in Old Cairo, we will have a chance to shop at the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar.  Then on our return to the hotel we will visit an essential oil shop to purchase special oils for our ceremony in the Great Pyramid.  B/L

In preparation for our Manifestation Ceremony in the Pyramid, we will gather together at the hotel for a workshop preparing for our desires of manifestation, lead by Loretta Greazzo.

Day Eleven: Thursday, November 11, "11-11-11" Ceremony in the Great Pyramid / Sphinx / Farewell Dinner

We will start our day by paying respect to the Sphinx, the great lion sentinel of the plateau with its carved body of a lion and the headdress of what Pharaohs later used to model after.  We then visit the 3 pyramids of the plateau saving the Great Pyramid until last. It is at this time our group will experience the magical energy of the Great Pyramid with our optional private ceremony inside.  First experiencing the Queens Chamber working with the heart chakra and then into the awesome Kings Chamber for the crown (7th) chakra. Later a delightful camel ride into the desert awaits us after our private pyramid visit. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest, contemplation and integration. It is also time to pack for our journey home. Tonight you will enjoy a very special evening while celebrating magnificent Egypt at a farewell dinner.   B/D  Upon returning to the hotel, we will gather together briefly for a Closing Ceremony--Peace Candle Lighting--lead by Teryl as we share peace and love with each other and send it out to the world.

Day Twelve: Friday, November 12, Say ‘Goodbye’ to Egypt for now  and depart for home.

Teryl has owned two companies where she realized her 100-hour workweeks were taking their toll on her, so she vowed to focus on finding more time to travel and "stop and smell the roses."…

…as a result, Teryl's travels have taken her to Switzerland, France, Germany, Luxemburg, England, Taiwan, Japan, Turk and Caicos Islands, Bahamas, Mexico, St Thomas USVI, St. Lucia, Puerto Rico, and Aruba, but her first journey in November of 2005 to Egypt far outweighed all the other wonderful places put together. Her Egyptian experience was beyond words, and--as the breathtaking energy in Egypt tends to do--has changed her life forever. In fact, she returned to Egypt twice since that first fateful trip.  And this will be her fourth trip to Egypt within five years…
