DETAILED ITINERARY
|
|
Day One: Depart from USA
Depart USA to arrive in Lima late in the evening
where we will spend the night. ( International air is not included. )
Day Two: Cuzco/Sacred Valley of the
Inca
Early morning flight to Cuzco capital of the Inca
Empire high in the Andes. We will travel by private bus through the scenic
countryside to the Sacred Valley. Time to rest and acclimate to the altitude.
We will have the opening ceremony at Ollantaytambo to request a good journey
from the Pachamama.
Day Three: Sacred
Valley
After breakfast we will explore the sacred site of
Pisaq, the Temple of the Falcon. We'll hike up the Inca ruins where we will
have the opportunity to remove any hucha or heavy energy we may be carrying. A
visit to the local market gives us time to purchase Peruvian handicrafts. On
the way back, we will stop at Urco, The Temple of the Serpent, to have a chicha
ceremony.
Day Four: Machu Picchu
Early in the morning we'll take the train through breathtaking terrain. Arriving in Aguas Calientes, we'll check into our hotel then take the bus up the winding road to the City in the Clouds. Jorge will guide us through the temples and power spots to connect with our inner knowing and re-membering.

Day Five: Machu Picchu/Cuzco
Optional return to Machu Picchu to explore on your own or stay in
Aguas Calientes to enjoy the thermal baths and local color. We return to Cuzco
for the night.
Day Six: Cuzco
On a walking tour we'll visit the Coricancha and altars of
Cuzco. Then we'll take our private motor coach to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman,an
ancient fortress temple built from huge granite blocks precision cut to fit
together without mortar. We will also go to Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Q'enko
and the Moon Temple.
Day Seven: Cuzco
After breakfast, we'll go to The Temple of the Waters at Tipon
for a water ceremony. The rest of the day and evening is free for enjoying the
ambience of Cuzco.
Day Eight: Lake Titicaca
We depart by bus for Lake Titicaca stopping to pay homage to the
Temple of Wiracocha. Overnight in Puno.

Day Nine: Amantani Island
Boarding a boat for Amantani Island, we arrive at the Temple of
the Mother Earth to participate in a ceremony to balance our polarities. This
evening , we will be privileged to sleep in the homes of the local
Islanders.
Day Ten: Puno
We return by boat to Puno exploring the floating reed islands of
the Uro people whose mythical origins point to the Dog Star Sirius.
Day Eleven: Cutimbo
This morning will be a visit to the powerful Aramu Mura Doorway.
That evening we'll return to Chucuito to visit Cutimbo.

Day Twelve: Bolivia
We will take our bus to Copacabana, Bolivia, then travel by boat to the Sun and Moon Islands, the birthplace of the Inca. Overnight in Bolivia.
Day Thirteen: Tiahuanaco
Tiahuanaco is a sacred site that has been estimated to have been
built around 15,000 BC. There will be time for meditation and reflection here
as we prepare ourselves to leave this sacred land. Return to Chucuito to spend
the night.
Day Fourteen: Leave for Home
In the morning we'll visit Sillustani, the burial grounds of
kings, queens and shamans for a closing ceremony. We leave from Juliaca and fly
to Lima to return home.
